Parthenos

Original Color Magearna is the reward for completing the National Pokédex in Pokémon HOME, making it a trophy of sorts to celebrate your journey as a Pokémon trainer.

Needless to say, the reason I decided to Ribbon Master her was for that; to give the ultimate reward what I consider to be the ultimate honor, at the eyes of pure and unfiltered autism.

Due to being a Mythical Pokémon, Magearna is not allowed in online ranked battles under normal circumstances, so the Master Rank Ribbon is not needed... at least for now.

I got most of these without any major complications, so there really isn't much else to say in the ribbons regard!

Name Origin

Thinking of a name was honestly the most complicated part out of all. Being a Mythical Pokémon made Magearna feel special, so a regular run-of-the-mill name wouldn't cut it.

Thankfully Magearna has a very well defined theming: It's a manmade automata. Keeping that in mind, I ended up making research on the Antikythera mechanism, the oldest known example of an analogue computer.

While reading through the Wikipedia article I came across a section that talked about the faces of the machine, starting by listing the months of the year that were being represented in it. One of them was ΠΑΡΘΕΝΟΣ (Parthenos), which meant "Maiden" and represented the zodiac sign Virgo, which happens to be mine.

Needless to say, once I read it I knew that was the right name for her. :)
